Twisted Easel Card.

Iv'e re purposed a
Christmas Card that we had bought
a few years ago intending to send to
The Doc's Aunt and Uncle.
Sadly Uncle Len passed away
before we were able to give it to them.
I came across the card a few days ago
in my stash and this card shape
just lent itself perfectly for me to be able to remake.
I found an excellent tutorial by Christina Griffiths
which you can find here.
I salvaged as much of the card as possible
and was able to cut the sentiment down
to say  'To a special Aunt'.
I'm pleased with the resulting card.

Cutting it really fine for the Rudolph Challenge
but have been mega busy this week preparing
for the decorator to arrive and do the next room.
Didn't want to miss Scrappy Mo's 1st  month as the new host.

entering into the following challenges:
Rudolph Day #1  Make one Christmas card.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop #161 Use up your snippets. (Christmas card and odd red card.)
Penny's Paper-Crafty #212 Anything goes.
Simon Says Wednesday # Anything goes.
Crafty Hazelnut's #214  Something beginning with B. (Bicycle, bow )

It's so sad that you weren't able to use the card for is original purpose (hugs x) but you have done a wonderful job of making it suitable solely for your Aunt.

Bit of a bitter-sweet card then, but you've altered it beautifully.

Good luck with the decorators, it'll be lovely when it's done eh.

No, the cats aren't on a diet too - lol. Leo would never forgive me - he wolfs his grub down then usually sicks it back up again - charming! Lily on the other hand is a 'Lady' and takes a back seat - she gets whatever's left over plus the dry food as Leo isn't so keen on that. I do suspect however, that she prefers to 'eat out' if you know what I mean!!! As long as she doesn't bring it in with her though! xx

Your re-re-purposed card has come out very nicely. The image lends itself very nicely to a twisted easel.

I really like the scroll work you have added, it works so well with the style of image and the twisted easel x
