My Friendly Acetate.

I hadn't quite realised how many
Custard tarts The Doc had consumed
till looking through my blue stash to make this card.

Oop's!
Best start using some of these box bases up then.

It is a new challlenge over at my Butterfly Challenge.

Here is my inspiration post for you.

My card uses acetate for the front with the stamped image and blue
custard tart card in the middle and blue card stock for the back

Stamps used are SU's  'Painted Petals'
and a new stamp company to me called Heyda that make
these little stamps which come on wooden pegs
(very similar to Cardio stamps idea  ).
Here I have used a Butterfly which is part of a set of 6 stamps.
I stamped using two coloured ink pads and built  the image
up one stamp at a time. Sentimnet is part of the SU set.

The card open showing the middle section.
Floral paper, zig zag braid, ribbon and
silver edging all from my stash along with the
used tart box.

More great recycling Mrs A, I always think it is very satisfying using what would otherwise be rubbish.

Liking the shades of blue and a lovely sentiment.

Many thanks for joining in with our February theme at Stamping Sensations challenge.

Have a post it on my computer - well I have lots stuck around the screen as reminders for this and that, but hopefully I will find time to create something this time round again.

Beautiful card, I'm loving that flowers stamp set. I've never been into floral sets that much but in the past 3 weeks i've bought myself 4 floral stamp sets and a flower die set. I love my digi images, but i've been having the urge to get my fingers inky lately :)

The sacrifices that Man makes for your art! Delightful...and such pretty papers to donate to your cause. I really like the appeal of this floral image, and it looks just beautiful as you've used it with the custard tart papers. Give Doc & yourself a big thank you for all this artistry. Also really love that sentiment too. Ya'll keep warm & dry. TFS &Hugs

The acetate is so cool. This is such a lovely card. I especially love the sentiment.
Will try to make a card for this weeks Butterfly challenge.
I have a friend coming down from the Okanagan (5 hours away). If she makes a butterfly card as well, can I submit it on a post from my blog but show the name area to be hers?
