Make It Mint

The New Theme/ Colour
for my Butterfly Challenge is

Noun: Margins = the edge or border of something
Verb: provide with  an edge or border.

Here is my inspiration for you.
The 1st card is quite CAS in Style.

I have used  a stamp by Katzelkraft, ribbon sticker
by Papermania and butterfly sticker.
I used Distress ink on the stamp and once stamped
blended out the colour using water and a paint brush.
Card base is mint green cardstock.

2nd card I am calling Garden Chic.
Is there such a term? If not  there is now!.

Here I have used a stamp by Kaisecraft
that I have finally managed to get my mitts on.
The stamp is called the Lake House and I just love it.
It stamps out a dream.  I used green distress ink onto white card
and coloured in using distress markers
adding a sprinkling of stickles diamond.
The stamp also comes with a trailing vine
which I have used to create the margin.
Again using distress markers to colour.
Used green mint cardstock and die cut an oval from it
as an overlay.  Finally mounted onto white shimmer cardstock
for the base of the card.
Silver sticker for the Sentiment.
Last but not least I punched out 3 small butterflies
using a Tonic punch.

Close up of the fountain but thee stickles are not
really showing up. They do IRL.

I love both cards Mrs A - and your fountain snippets card is a real beauty! So pleased you managed to get hold of the stamp.

And, Parsnip is in disgrace - he's the one who ate the choklit bunny's ears! The brown whiskers and paws he was sporting gave it away - right now he's on the naughty step, out in the rain, waiting for forgiveness! :)

Hugs

Two lovely cards here Valery. I really like the clean CAS design on your first card and the colours that you've used. The fountain on your second card is stamped and coloured beautifully and works so well in the oval die cut frame. The card is finished off perfectly with the addition of the three little butterflies. Loving both of these, and good for you at snagging this pretty image of the garden fountain. Love the way you've created the border on this one. Also very much like #1, with the DI watercoloring. The bright yellows are so cheery, and a great take on the Margins challenge! Just added more details to the already lovely focal point! Happy Easter. TFS
